Known for our bountiful buffets and
lavish floral arrangements, Truffles & Flourishes is widely
complimented for being dramatic and creative in its presentations.
We have a large stock of interesting and unusual serving trays
- from huge clam shells to black lacquer, branch baskets, and
mirrors. For children's and holiday parties, we have produced
in-house props and stage sets to be used as buffet tables. Rather
than renting trees to cordon off a room, we might suggest using
a painted backdrop of, say, Fisherman's Wharf, behind a buffet
table laden with fish nets, lobster traps, starfish, with fresh
prawns, oysters, clams and crab claws overflowing in our gigantic
shells.
Our Design Department can transform any room, or tent into just
about anywhere our imagination (and your budget) takes us. Like
magicians, we've converted garages into discos, tents into book-lined
libraries, complete with brass lamps and busts of literary figures
as centerpieces, and a sparse winter backyard into "The Garden
of Versailles." Santa's Village, Halloween Horrors, and the
60 foot long replica of the Golden Gate Bridge are reoccurring
themes.
Instead of the plain rentable tablecloths most companies use, Truffles & Flourishes has access to thousands of patterns which we get from suppliers all over the United States. From sophisticated to sublime, from ridiculous to divine, from lurex to lace, spandex to spots, animal prints, florals, graphics, stars and stripes. If it doesn't exist, we'll have it made. Of course, specialty lines cost more, but the visual impact they make on your guests is certainly worth it. Every event is "opening night" and both you and Truffles & Flourishes have three hours to make an impression. Usually, it's made in the first three minutes. Let's do it right. Your guests are worth it.
